DAVID C. KNIGHT

Founder and creator of MUSIC TALKS SESSIONS, David C. Knight, is a composer, producer and musician of over 30 years. David began his musical journey in 1976 when under the influence of Stanley Clarke, Louis Johnson, and Bernard Edwards, he picked up the bass guitar.

After nearly ten years of playing the bass professionally, with his band Chace , David opened his project studio, Full Range Recordings where he recorded and produced for the up and coming independent artists of the generation.

His career as an event producer began in 1999 after assisting the founder of the New York Music & Internet Expo, Steven Zuckerman with his first large-scale expo. In the years that followed, David Knight played the role of associate producer, than producer for the 2001 New York Music & Internet Expo held in Madison Square Garden.

“Traditional expos are needed, but MUSIC TALKS gives the people that make the music the opportunity to discuss, express and share their experiences about the music and recording industries among themselves. It gives the independent artists a voice of their own to be heard!” says, David Knight.

JEANETTE LUNDGREN

MUSIC TALKS’ LA Director. Having spent over 20 years in the NY publishing business licensing translation, serial, book club, film/TV and electronic rights to popular fiction/nonfiction and children's books, Jeanette Lundgren landed in LA in the year 2000 looking for the road less traveled. She found it when she stumbled into the local singer-songwriter community and heard music that rang in her head for days. Now she's applying everything learned from pitching, publicizing, hand-selling, negotiating and licensing books -- to the music world, and loving every minute of it. The music business has changed substantially in the last 20-odd years and Jeanette is determined to aid those she calls "the best of the best" in whichever way they need, and in so doing finally finding a niche for herself. myspace.com/meetmeinthemusicpresents
